Stopanska Banka Q3 2025 Results

Stopanska Banka AD Skopje (SB/the Bank) continues with solid performance in Q3’25. Pre-provision income amounts to €70m, 7% higher Vs. same period last year. Maintaining the high prudential approach in asset quality, being one of the main priorities, is supported with allocated provisions in net amount of €15.6m. The pre-tax profit as of 30.09.2025 amounts to €54.2m, higher by 8 % vs. last year.

Net interest income amounts to €67.0m and is lower by 11% Vs. same period last year due to decreased interest rates, and at the same time higher deposit interest rates for longer-term maturities, thus improving the maturity structure of the balance sheet.

Net fees amounted to €9.6m, lower than last year by 9%, due to increased costs by main providers (cards providers & fund transfer correspondents), and, at the same time, decreased income due to regulatory restrictions on some services.

The total assets of the Bank amount €2.454m. The capital and reserves after the payment of dividend for ordinary shares in amount of €65m for period 2018-2024 amount €455m. In the mentioned period the Bank re-allocated €60m from the previous year’s retained earnings into regulatory capital, thus the capital adequacy ratio increased to 20.54 %.

In the next period the Bank is expected to continue with its business activities in accordance with the defined business plan, focusing on customer service, prudent risk management and maintaining the prominent level of stability and efficiency in all segments of operations. The Bank will continue with already started projects, primarily in the segments of digitalization, increasing operational efficiency and offering new services. The focus will remain on preserving the leadership position in retail lending, aiming to increase the share in corporate lending, as well. The Bank continues with enhancing the internal processes to offer better, faster, and more modern service, and, at the same time, reorganizing the branches toward advice-oriented points for the clients.
The new Headquarter building is at the final stage of construction, incorporating the highest standards, thus providing employees with best terms and conditions for operations, and enhancing team spirit.

In the analyzed period the Bank continues to support the projects that are important for the social environment, including inclusion and creating a better society for all stakeholders. The project “Green Wall” continues with new tree-plants to enrich the “Magnolia Park” in the City Park. The ninth volume of “Vozi Pravo Vozi Zdravo” included more than 9000 participants. The new Reading Room in the Medicine Faculty at the University of Ciril and Methodius Skopje was opened, with the most contemporary materials and interior design. Following the big tragedy in Kochani that happened early this year, the Bank donated direct financial help to the affected families, affirming that the Bank is a socially responsible company.
