Prepared for the SEPA Payments
With the accession of the Republic of North Macedonia to the SEPA scheme, we have entered a new era of banking transactions.
Stopanska banka, as a bank that is always committed to its clients, starting October 7, 2025, enables SEPA credit transfers for individuals and legal entities, which can be carried out at the Bank’s branches or via the e-banking application.
Main features of SEPA credit transfers include:
- Execution exclusively in euro currency, to SEPA scheme member countries and to banks registered for SEPA credit transfers
- The client chooses whether the payment will be executed as a SEPA credit transfer or a SWIFT credit transfer
- SEPA credit transfers are executed exclusively with SHA cost option (shared costs)
- Lower fees compared to standard international credit transfers
- SEPA credit transfers are subject to the same foreign exchange regulations as standard international credit transfers
