Stopanska Banka has enabled Apple Pay for its clients – a safe and secure method for payment using Apple devices

Stopanska Banka enabled the use of Apple Pay for its clients, as a fast, simple and safe method of payment with their Visa and MasterCard payment cards via an Apple device.

For the purposes to use Apple Pay and the digitization of Visa and MasterCard payment cards, it is necessary for clients to download the free mobile application Apple Wallet, while for enhanced authentication, they must be active users of the mobile application of Stopanska Banka.

Each purchase with Apple Pay is safe, because it is authenticated with face identification (Face ID), touch identification (Touch ID) or a password on the device. With Apple Pay, the client can pay at all sale points that use a POS terminal with contactless reader that accept contactless payment, as well as on web-pages and applications that accept Apple Pay. Withdrawal of cash from ATMs is also enabled in the devices with contactless reader, without a need of physical presence of the card itself.

Safety and privacy are the general principles of the functioning of Apple Pay. When clients use digitized debit or credit cards with Apple Pay, they have freedom and can be calm, because the number of the payment card shall never be saved in the device or the servers of Apple and its shall never be shared with merchants.
Apple Pay uses the NFC technology (close communication) for payment at merchants, which protects your true card number by the use of a unique number specific for the device and a code for the transaction.
