Stopanska Banka, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the Natural Museum – Skopje signed a Memorandum for strategic partnership aimed at modernization and digitalization of the Museum.

The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Zoran Ljutkov, the Chief Executive Officer of Stopanska Banka, Ms. Chrysoula Koutoudi, and the Director of the Natural Museum – Skopje, Mr. Ivica Zarkadov, today signed a Memorandum for a three-year strategic partnership, establishing cooperation for modernization and digital transformation of the museum. The signing of the memorandum comes ahead of the 100-year anniversary of the founding of this museum institution in 2026.

The Minister Ljutkov, in a statement to the media, expressed gratitude to Stopanska Banka for recognizing the importance and potential of the museum as a national center for ecological and scientific education.

“This Memorandum confirms how the public and private sectors can successfully collaborate to create better learning conditions, innovative cultural and scientific content, and support for younger generations. I am especially pleased by the projects which will be implemented in the Museum - the ‘Magic Room’, improved accessibility, a modern website, and new digital tools — which will directly influence the development of curiosity, knowledge, and creativity among the youngest visitors,” emphasized the Minister Ljutkov.

 

                                             

                   

The Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Stopanska Banka, Ms. Koutoudi, highlighted:

“It is a great pleasure to be here today as a representative of the Stopanska Banka team, dedicated to this new partnership with the Natural Museum and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Stopanska Banka has a long-standing tradition of supporting education, science, and public institutions. I hope that through this partnership we will contribute to new interactive and immersive experiences for the thousands of children who visit the Museum every year, continuing its scientific mission built over a century.
I thank the Ministry for their guidance and support and the Museum team for their energy and inspiration in collaborating with our team. I look forward to meeting again here at the opening of the new digital exhibits,”.

The Director of the Natural Museum, Mr. Zarkadov, expressed gratitude to Stopanska Banka for the significant donation of €150,000, which will enable the renovation of the entrance portal and hall, the construction of the first interactive “MAGIC ROOM” in North Macedonia, and the complete modernization of the website. He emphasized that these changes will make the museum more attractive to students, young people, and tourists, and that this represents the first major donation directly invested in the museum building in its hundred-year history.
