Donation - Study room, Medical Faculty, Skopje

Stopanska Banka AD – Skopje has officially handed over a new, modern study room to the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje – a space designed for studying and conducting additional research in the field of medicine, intended for students and medical residents during their studies. The study room, located within the Clinical Center, covers an area of 120 square meters and is furnished with modular furniture, creating an inspiring environment for learning and professional development of future medical professionals.

The study room was officially opened by the members of Stopanska banka’s Board of Directors, Mr. Diomidis Nikoletopoulos and Mr. Bojan Stojanoski. The opening ceremony was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje, MD Svetozar Antovic, the vice-deans, professors, doctors, as well as representatives of the students who will be the primary users of this facility.

We remain fully committed to supporting the needs of the Faculty of Medicine, with whom we have a strong partnership, continuing our dedication to the health and well-being of the community," Mr. Diomidis Nikoletopoulos, CEO and President of the Board of Directors of Stopanska banka emphasized at the event. 

The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, MD Svetozar Antovic, expressed gratitude for the donation, highlighting his satisfaction with the long-term collaboration with Stopanska Banka.

"The students of the Faculty of Medicine now have a modern study room that will serve many generations to come. This dedicated space is essential for the long educational process required to train top medical professionals, the kind of experts our faculty consistently produces. By doing so, we are strengthening the medical workforce and ensuring the sustainability of the healthcare system in the long run. With this donation, Stopanska banka has once again confirmed itself as our reliable partner, providing outstanding support for various projects for the benefit of both students and the Institutes, which ultimately improves conditions in the healthcare sector – something we are truly grateful for," said Antovic.

With the opening of this study room, Stopanska banka completes a series of donations to the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje, made in honor of the Bank’s 80th anniversary. In addition to the creation of the study room, the Bank donated state-of-the-art technology to the Institute of Pathology – a specialized scanner for pathohistological samples that, with the help of artificial intelligence and advanced medical software, enables more accurate and faster analysis of medical specimens. This cutting-edge equipment is also used for educational purposes at the Faculty of Medicine, contributing to the high-level training of future experts.
