Membership fees and charges

• Annual membership fee in the amount of 300 denars
• Free for customers up to 28 years old
• For clients over 28 – free of charge for the first year, later there is a possibility to be exempted from paying the fee provided that the realized transactions within a year exceed 100,000 denars
• 0 denars membership fee (without membership) for an additional card.
• One-time cost of 300 denars for making an additional card.
• The cost of 100 denars when renewing the card (the cost is charged once every 5 years, when making a new card)

Other charges

• NO COMMISSION for withdrawing cash from SB ATMs
• For cash withdrawals from ATMs of other banks in the Republic of North Macedonia, the denar account is debited with a commission of 2% of the withdrawn amount, but not less than 70 denars.
• For cash withdrawals abroad, the denar account is debited with a commission of 2.5%, but not less than 250 denars of the withdrawn amount.
• Issuance of a new PIN is 200 denars
• The cost of reissuing a card due to theft, loss, damage or change of personal information is 350 denars.

Security in contactless payments

According to the regulation on strengthened customer authentication when performing contactless card-based payment transactions, PIN code authentication is mandatory in the following cases:

• If the card has made 5 consecutive contactless transactions at a POS terminal without a PIN (since the last transaction authenticated with a PIN), the next contactless transaction must be authenticated with a PIN by the client. Otherwise, it will be rejected.
• If the total accumulated amount of all contactless transactions at the POS exceeds 9,000 denars (since the last transaction authenticated with a PIN), the next contactless transaction must be authenticated with a PIN, regardless of the transaction amount. Otherwise, it will be rejected.
• If the individual amount of a contactless payment transaction at a POS terminal exceeds 2,000 denars, it must be authenticated with a PIN. Otherwise, it will be rejected (this limit per contactless transaction at certain POS terminals in the country may be 2,500 denars, and in other countries it may exceed 2,500 denars).
• When paying with Google Pay, it is not necessary to enter a PIN code at a POS terminal, but it is mandatory for the mobile device to be unlocked in order to make the payment, regardless of the transaction amount.
• When paying with Apple Pay, it is not necessary to enter a PIN code at a POS terminal, but authentication with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device's password is mandatory, regardless of the transaction amount.
