VISA Electron

Product description

VISA Electron card is a debit card with possibility for using only in the country, for the purpose of:

• Non-cash payments in the merchants network and

• Cash withdrawal from bank or ATM

Basic characteristics

•  VISA Electron card is connected with MKD account – in which MKD funds are paid

•  The card is used FREE OF FEE for payments in the merchants network in the country

Cash withdrawal

•  FREE OF FEE for MKD cash withdrawal from SB's ATMs and sub-branches

•  For MKD cash withdrawal from ATMs of other banks in the Republic of Macedonia , the MKD account is debited by fee of MKD 100 + 2% of the withdrawn amount

Validity period

•  First issuing – 5 years

•  Each further renewal – 5 years

Annual membership


•  Free of annual membership fee (0 MKD annual membership fee); 90 MKD renewal fee (charged every 5 years, as the card is reissued); 300 MKD for issuing an additional card

•  MKD 300.00 for reissuing of damaged, stolen, or lost card

PIN code

•  For cash withdrawal from ATM, PIN code is obligatorily used (you receive it in a sealed envelope together with the card). If a wrong PIN code is entered more than twice, the ATM takes the card away.

•  Issuing a new PIN code is charged by MKD 150


•  Individuals (residents and non-residents),

•  Holders of current transaction account with SB

Required documents

•  Application for VISA Electron card personally filled in and signed by the client,

•  Copy of ID card

If you want to apply for the VISA ELECTRON card, print the application, fill it in and submit it to the closest sub-branch of the Bank.
