· Professor of International Finance and Financial Systems, and Banking at the Postgraduate Studies of the Institute of Economics - Skopje

· Lecturer at the Courses of the Securities Commission

· Mentor of one master thesis, member of commissions for defending four master theses, as well as a chairperson of a commission for defending a doctorate

· Reviewer of three books that are used as student's books at the Faculty of Economics in Skopje, the Catering and Tourism Faculty in Ohrid, and the Law Faculty in Skopje

 

Work experience:

December 1984, he started working as a Junior Economist with the National Bank of Macedonia. In 1993, became a General Manager, in 1994 was appointed Vice-Governor, while in the period 1997-2000 was the Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Macedonia.

 

Other activities:

· Member of Board of Directors of the Bank Rehabilitation Agency, 1995-1999

· Member of the Technical Committee of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts regarding the scientific project "Strategy for Economic Development of Macedonia", 1996-1998

· Member of the Board of Directors of the Money Market, 1997-2000

· Co-chairperson of the Second Worktable for Economic Reconstruction and Development of the Stability Pact, January - June 2000

· Member of the Securities Commission, March 1999 - October 2003

 

Research activities:

One of the creators of the new currency and of the reforms in Macedonia. In addition, he researched the reforms in almost all the transitional economies. Participated in research projects in the field of banking, monetary theory and policy, applied economics, economic development, exchange rate policies, balance of payments, international financial institutions, capital flows, corporate finance, investments, and financial markets.

 

Scientific work:

Two books, 207 articles, discussions and research studies in professional and scientific magazines in Macedonia, Austria, Bulgaria and Slovenia. In addition, he participates in domestic and international symposiums.
